If the remote control stops working with the awning it needs to be reset.
Resetting the motor stops on a sunsetter awning.
Unplug or stop using the awning and wait a few minutes.
A jog is a short back and forth movement of the motor.
Motor to lose stop position settings which will require resetting the motor stop positions.
Plug the power cord back into the outlet.
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet on the wall.
From a stepladder locate the limit push buttons on the motor.
Step 1 push the middle button on the remote control and unplug the awning s power cord from the electrical outlet.
Remove four 4 2 phillips screws.
A for 5 seconds until the motor jogs then release.
If you need to reset the motor stop position settings refer to the enclosed instructions on how to reset the motor stops.
When the motor stops press and holdthe programming button on the back of the remote transmitter see fig.
Press the neutral stop button on the remote.
Plug the awning back in if necessary and try using the awning again.
A very specific problem but maybe i m not the only one.
Test the awning for proper operation.

Limit how often you open and close the awning as overuse on a hot day could cause the motor to cut out.
