You won t lose any quest rewards by siding with the bos although you lose out on being able to buy synth relay grenades after the game is over and the opportunity to kill maxson and take his stuff.

To simplify it as much as possible you are always allied with the minutemen but when it comes to the other 3 whichever one you choose will be the only one you can continue to be allies with afterwards.
I think it would be cool to get your own personal one as a perk of siding with a faction like the bos or the ncr.

I also like them since their only objective is protecting people.
I enjoy using the artillery especially when you use it when in range of two or more settlements.

The secretive nature of the institute has turned it into somewhat of a boogeyman figure on the surface and its presence is a major cause of paranoia for the people of the.
My favorite so far is the minutemen.
However the drawback to siding with this faction is that players will have to eliminate the institute faction to complete their story.
